Setting up your workspace

Your workspace is your agency's home in Workhouse — its name, branding, and defaults shape what both your team and your clients see. A few minutes here pays off before you invite anyone.

Find it under Settings → Workspace settings. (You'll need workspace-configure permission — Owners have it by default.)

Name and logo

Your workspace name and logo appear across the app and in the client portal, on invite emails, and in notifications. Upload a logo and set the name your clients know you by.

Branding

The accent color is used for themed surfaces — portal accents and charts. It defaults to the system indigo; set it to your brand color so the portal your clients log into feels like yours.

Defaults for new members

These seed onto each new member's schedule preferences when they join (existing members aren't affected):

  • Work day start / end — the working window used for calendar planning
  • Work days — which days count as working days
  • Daily focus capacity (minutes) — how much focused work the calendar plans per person per day

If your team runs 10–6 rather than 9–5, set it here once instead of per person. (A default timezone field exists but isn't applied per-workspace yet — members manage their own timezone for now.)

AI model

Status report generation uses AI (see "Sending status reports"). By default it uses the system model; if you want a specific one, enter a Vercel AI Gateway model id (e.g. anthropic/claude-haiku-4-5). Leave it blank unless you have a reason — unknown model ids fail at generation time.

Next steps

From the Members & roles card you can jump to Team & invites (bring in your team — see "Your team and roles") and Manage roles (adjust what each role can do). Then add your first client — see "Adding your first client."
