Inviting your team
Your portal works best when the right people from your side are in it — whoever reviews work, answers questions, or needs visibility into what's shipping.
How teammates get added
Today, invites are sent by your agency. To add someone from your team:
- Ask your agency contact — a quick message in the Discussion thread works fine. Include the person's name and email address.
- Your agency sends them an invite, and they'll receive an email with the subject "You're invited to [your agency's workspace] on Workhouse."
What your teammate will see
The invite email links to a page that confirms who invited them and which team they're joining. To accept, they just:
- Enter their name
- Set a password (at least 8 characters)
- Click Accept invite
That's it — they land directly in the portal and see the same shared board you do.
A few things worth knowing
- Invites expire after 14 days. If your teammate sees "This invite isn't valid," the link may have expired or already been used — ask your agency contact to send a fresh one.
- Everyone sees the same shared work. Teammates on your account see the same tasks, discussions, and status reports you do.
- Action items are individual. Your agency can assign action items to a specific person on your team, so the right teammate gets the to-do.
- Notifications are individual too. Each person controls their own notification settings — what shows up in their Inbox versus what also gets emailed — and can watch or mute individual tasks.
Removing someone
If a teammate leaves or no longer needs access, let your agency contact know and they'll remove the account.
