Getting started in your portal
Your portal is the one place to see everything your agency is working on for you — what's in progress, what's shipped, and anything that needs your input. This guide walks through what you'll see the first time you log in.
Your home page: "Your work"
When you log in you land on Your work. At the top is a quick stats bar:
- Total shared — every task your agency has shared with you
- Active — tasks that aren't done yet
- In progress — tasks being actively worked on
- Done — completed tasks
- Action items — to-dos assigned specifically to you (highlighted when you have open ones)
Below the stats, the page is organized into a few cards.
Your action items
If your agency needs something from you — a logo file, copy approval, account access — it shows up here as an action item with a checkbox. Check it off when it's done. Items with a due date turn red when they're overdue, and each one links to the task it belongs to.
Tasks
This is your board. By default it's a Kanban view with columns for each status (To do, In progress, Review, Done), and you can switch to a list view or filter by status if you prefer. Click any task to open it — that's where you'll find the full description, checklists, comments, and approvals.
If you're brand new, you may see "Nothing's been shared yet." Your agency will share tasks here when they're ready for you to review.
Discussion
A running conversation with your agency team that isn't tied to any one task. Start a new thread anytime — questions, ideas, anything.
Status reports
When your agency sends a status report, it appears here with the project name and date.
Getting around
The buttons at the top of your home page:
- Dashboard — a visual summary of your work: tasks shipped over time, what's due, what's awaiting you. You can click Customize to arrange it however you like.
- Docs — guides your agency has published for you (you're probably reading one now).
- Send a request — ask your agency for anything. See "Submitting a request" for how this works.
- Inbox — your notifications: new comments, approval requests, status reports. Unread items show as a badge.
Inside a task
Click any task on your board to open it. Depending on the task you'll see:
- Status — you can move a task between To do, In progress, Review, and Done yourself
- Description and deliverables — what's being built and what you'll get
- Checklist — shared steps; you can check items off as they're completed
- Your action items — to-dos assigned to you on this task
- Approval — when work is ready for your sign-off (see "How approvals work")
- Activity — a timeline of everything that's happened on the task
- Discussion — the comment thread for this task; reply, react with emoji, and @-mention people
When a task is marked Done, you can leave a 1–5 star satisfaction rating so the team knows how it landed.
Controlling notifications per task
At the top of each task there's a notification button. Choose:
- Watch this task — get notified about everything on it
- Use default — get notified when you're assigned, reviewing, or have commented
- Mute this task — stay quiet, though @-mentions still reach you
Your settings
Click your name in the header to update your profile (name and avatar). Under notification settings you can choose which events also get delivered to your email — new comments, approval requests, approval decisions, and status reports. The Inbox bell always shows every event; the toggles only control email delivery.
Replaying the tour
The first time you visit, a short guided tour points out the basics. You can replay it anytime from the ? button on your home page.
