Comments and discussions

There are two places to talk with your agency in the portal. Picking the right one keeps conversations easy to find later.

Task comments: feedback on a specific piece of work

Every task has its own comment thread — open a task and scroll to the "Discussion" section at the bottom. Use it for anything about that deliverable: feedback, questions, context, files of reference.

What you can do in a thread:

  • Post and reply — replies nest under the comment they answer, so parallel conversations stay untangled
  • React with emoji — a quick 👍 acknowledges something without adding a notification-worthy comment
  • @-mention someone — type @ and pick a person to pull them in directly. Mentions always reach people, even if they've muted the task
  • See who's typing — a typing indicator shows when someone on the team is mid-reply

Comments on your tasks are part of the work record: they appear in the task's activity feed and stay attached to the task forever, which makes them the best place for decisions ("approved the blue version") you might need to find again.

The Discussion feed: everything else

Your home page has a "Discussion" card — a running conversation with your agency team that isn't tied to any one task. Start a thread there for things like:

  • Questions that span multiple tasks ("what's the plan for Q3?")
  • New ideas that aren't a formal request yet
  • General check-ins and logistics

Threads support the same replies, reactions, and @-mentions as task comments. Click any thread to open its full page.

Which one should I use?

  • About one specific deliverable? → comment on the task
  • Bigger than one task, or there's no task yet? → start a Discussion thread
  • A concrete ask you want tracked and triaged? → use Send a request instead, so it gets a formal yes/no and becomes a task (see "Submitting a request")

A note on notifications

Posting a comment or thread reply notifies the relevant people on the agency side. In the other direction, you control what reaches you: the Inbox bell shows everything, your email toggles control delivery, and per-task watch/mute settings tune individual tasks — with @-mentions always cutting through. See "Managing your notifications" for the full picture.
